Codes from the other side
Messages, codes, premonitions—that is what artworks often are. There is a constant dialogue with oneself, with life, and with the invisible world, which manifests itself through art. It is a constant flow filled with secrets and mysteries that can be deciphered. And it is always oneself facing oneself.
A series of self-portraits taken with a toy instant camera; instead of using a roll of thermal paper, I decided to use some old receipts and a few recent ones I found in one of my purses.
This experiment was possible because this little camera—which I’m obsessed with—uses the same paper as cash registers.

Works created spontaneously, guided by intuition, using paper of different colors, ink, aniline, natural dyes, and calligraphy pens and peacock feathers for writing and drawing.
